I have quite a few KZ IEMS, the KZ-ATE, KZ-ZST, KZ-ZS3, KZ-ED12, KZ-ZS5, KZ-ZS6 and I will not bore you with comparisons (I haven’t really done a head to head comparison between them), but I will say that I have other more expensive IEMS like the KEF M200 (very uncomfortable for me), the FiiO F9 Pro (I find a little bit uncomfortable after long listening sessions), the Sennheiser momentums (IEMS), Audio-Technica ATH-IM70, and a few more… and I always find myself listening to the KZ-ZS6.
I did change the awful default KZ tips to foam ones, that produces a more balanced sound. With the default rubber tips they sound a tad bit bright and can lead to fatigue.
I am also looking to find something better… but have failed so far.
This is of course to my ears; your mileage may vary.
